I don’t know how long it’s been broke! I’ve just noticed, because I’ve wondered why my last RSS post downloaded from this blog was on the 22 April 2009! A blank line got in the way of the feed data! (whoops!). Fixed and validated again! In future, I’ll validate after I make any changes!

I keep getting asked if I’ve updated my website or uploaded new pictures.
“A blog (short for web log) is a website where entries are made and displayed in a reverse chronological order.”
If you would like to be automatically updated when I’ve updated the blog, rather than asking me if I’ve updated it, uploaded new pictures or checking back regularly you may like to use an aggregator.
An aggregatoror or news aggregator or feed reader is client software that you install on your PC and uses web feed to retrieve syndicated web content such as blogs, podcasts, vlogs, and mainstream mass media websites, or in the case of a search aggregator, a customized set of search results.
Aggregators reduce the time and effort needed to regularly check websites for updates.
Aggregator features are being built into portal sites such as My Yahoo! and Google; modern web browsers; and e-mail programs. (Also known as RSS Readers).
So include the following URL into your Aggregators.
https://andysworld.org.uk/house/rss.php?ver=2
Set your Aggregator to update daily, and it will collect the new posts automatically.
I’ve fixed the RSS Feed for this blog…!
So if you have a RSS reader, you can now subscribe to this blog, and it will work…!
RSS Feed Fixed again.
If you don’t know what an RSS feed is, Google for it, get an RSS Reader, and subscribe to the blog. That way when I post a new blog posting, you’ll get it automatically in you Inbox or in your RSS software program.
The RSS Feed is currently broke, I fixed an earlier fault, where the blog wouldn’t display more than 100 pictures, this was resolved, but I didn’t realize the code that fixed the 100 picture fault, has broken RSS feeds, so it’s pictures or RSS feed.
So for the time being RSS Feed is OFF (broke!), until fixed!
If you’ve come via a bookmark or RSS Newsreader “thru’ the backdoor”, you will not have noticed that I’ve changed the image on the Home Page.
It’s given me an opportunity to try out a new digital camera, the “boss” doesn’t read the blog, so she’ll never know, unless you tell her, and I’ll know!
I’ve still got a Digital SLR, which gives great results, but a decent Canon macro lens and flash is very expensive for such a camera, and you can get good macro fucntions in smaller compact Digital Cameras, you can also get closer to the glass with a compact Digital Cameras – this one was a bargain!
So here’s the first picture I took with the new camera, which is also featured on the home page, if you missed it, here it is again.
Male Ancistrus sp. Bristlenose catfish to most of us fishkeepers, this one is rather special because it doesn’t have the usual colouration as most common, it is almost black with white spots, and it will not breed with any of the common females!
I’ve added a new RSS 2.0 Feeds sub-menu on the right side-bar. It looks like this:-
Select the approriate feed. The only difference is the Angelfishcam service status has been excluded from the main Fish House blog events.
This is one of my special Koi Angelfish I’ve breed.
Sorry for RSS users, I’m modifying the blog code, to add new features. So you may get this entry a few times, depending on how often you download the RSS feed.
