So you probably already know, I have a following for early Marillion (81-91), and after Fish split, I’ve followed Fish Solo career, and the latest and last albums arrived last week.
So last week on Friday 30th August 2024, Meltonby Honey appeared on the show!
The video is the right way wound now, and for those wondering “He Knows You Know” is a Marillion song, one of my favorites, and it still remains a mystery how Dr Emlyin Roberts knew!
Well I tried and I tried, but I really needed to go beekeeping, and prepare the Summer Honey crop to be taken off.

So no tickets for me! Everything I go to the option to purchase tickets, it could not find any availability, and this was at 9.30am in the morning!
I always knew Liam & Noel would eventually re-unite! The Dream is a reality now! Just need to get some tockyn !

I’ve just returned from a excellent, fantastic gig by Midge Ure, at Pocklington Arts Centre. A brilliant gig of all his great songs, and especially a fantastic rendition of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
Dancing With Tears In My Eyes – so very true due to recent events!
Not to put a downer on the event, the gig was fantastic, but to be honest and truthful I did have tears in my eyes, and found it difficult to hold them back when meeting Midge this evening. (due to recent events!). A very emotional evening.
Midge did comment “that he does write bloody miserable songs!” and wished us all the best.
A truly sureal moment, growing up in the 80s and listening to Midge Ure/Ultravox and then to meet Midge in person.

Another fanastic concert by Marina and her band. The University union gig was packed in like sardines in a can. A cross section of the public from teenagers to Mums and Dads escorting their children, or Mum’s escorting their children! (got to be careful what I write, as there’s children reading the blog!).

I wish! Off to see Marina and the Dimaonds again tomorrow night at Leeds University Students Union on the Burger Queen Tour 2010 . Again, same rules apply – mid life crisis – billy no mates, going on his own! But I had to pay £15 this time! Must charge flip camera and digital camera!

My ticket has arrived to see Marina and the Diamonds at Leeds Metropolitan University Student Union on the 31 May 2010, Lindsey thinks I’m having a mid-life crisis, it’s been about 26 years since I last purchased a ticket to see a pop group that was charting for a mere tenner! Lindsey didn’t want to go! So billy no-mates is going on his own!
