I thought as both Lindsey & I work long days, I would purchase the cats (Esther, Angus and Tilly) a new interractive toy, so they wouldn’t get bored during the day, and to stimulate their minds and body!
Before I could clean and rinse the new fish tank today, before site-ing in the fish house, Angus had to get out of it! I’d just un-wrapped it in the garden for cleaning, and Angus jumped in! I reached for my handy camera to take a snapshot of him in the tank, but as you can see from the photo above, he started to climb out!
Later I managed to get the tank cleaned, rinsed and polished and sited in the fish house ready for filters, heaters, sand and water.
This is a little job, I’ve been meaning to do for a while. The lid on my composter broke a year ago, the cooking apples on the tree above the composter, fell and broke the black pvc on the compost lid. The result of this was the compost has been getting too wet and too dry. So armed with a Black and Decker jigsaw, hammer, staple-gun and nails time to fix.
Oh, and Angus (the ginger cat in frame!), decided he was going to help as well! In the background is an old whiteboard, I no longer use, that I’m going to recycle to nail to the lid, so the apples don’t break the black PVC when it ages!
Now Angus is 7 months old, I think he’s now old enough to be taught the ways of the force! Maltilda was given the option, but she didn’t seem interested and fell asleep in the motherboard box!
Something special for November, this was recorded when the kittensAngus and Maltilda, first arrived home! They are somewhat larger now 6/7 months later!
Thanks to Phoebe and Chrissie! BTW our cats are not Smelly! Sorry Cats!
