Saturday, November 6th, 2010Another fanastic concert by Marina and her band. The University union gig was packed in like sardines in a can. A cross section of the public from teenagers to Mums and Dads escorting their children, or Mum’s escorting their children! (got to be careful what I write, as there’s children reading the blog!).
This video is also available in HD, as it was shot in HD, on a Cisco Flip HD! Just change the you tube options, if you’ve got the bandwidth!

I wish! Off to see Marina and the Dimaonds again tomorrow night at Leeds University Students Union on the Burger Queen Tour 2010 . Again, same rules apply - mid life crisis - billy no mates, going on his own! But I had to pay £15 this time! Must charge flip camera and digital camera!

My ticket has arrived to see Marina and the Diamonds at Leeds Metropolitan University Student Union on the 31 May 2010, Lindsey thinks I’m having a mid-life crisis, it’s been about 26 years since I last purchased a ticket to see a pop group that was charting for a mere tenner! Lindsey didn’t want to go! So billy no-mates is going on his own!

Friday, February 19th, 2010It was an interesting night, being thrown back in time to the 80s, watching all the dressed up fans (freaks - myself included, which reminds me of another band and song - ‘all the best freaks are here’ ) in their gear! But an enjoyable, fabulous set and songs. Worth the wait! I only wished I had another ticket to see her again!
It gets much loader, when GaGa comes on, and wipes out the camera microphone, I wondered why Lindsey was complaining one of her ears wasn’t working properly today! Mine are okay, but I’m deaf anyway! Please also note, if you are one of the freaks going to the Monster Ball, the video does contain spoliers!

Friday, February 19th, 2010I didn’t really anticpiate taking my compact digital camera because I didn’t know how well the photos and video would come out, and despite the notice on the entrance to the MEN stating cameras and digital recording devices would not be allowed, I think everyone at the MEN had a camera or phone with a camera! The only problem is I only took, on memory card, which was rather full, but here is a small clips of the evening to give you a flavour, and I apologise for the picture, video and audio quality - it was loud, that loud, it overloads the microphone on the camera.
